Unwanted approach on a VIP
Someone inside pushing to get at a principal, or filming them uninvited.
What it looks like
- Lingering near a VIP's table or exit, pressing to get close
- Uncredentialed filming of the principals
- Handing items 'for' the VIP directly
Before — design it out
- VIP liaison stays close and knows the nearest exit
- Route all gifts/packages through security
- Keep the principal's exit path clear
During — what staff do
- Liaison steps between and redirects calmly
- Route the person to the safety lead
- Move the VIP if intensity rises; don't make a public scene
