Impersonation / fake credentials
Posing as a guest, vendor, delivery, or staff to get inside.
What it looks like
- A name not on the list, or a pass that looks off
- A vendor/delivery with no scheduled appointment
- A story that keeps changing under simple questions
Before — design it out
- Pre-share the guest and vendor list with the door
- Verify vendors against a scheduled appointment
- Photo ID where appropriate; escort vendors
During — what staff do
- Stay friendly, verify against the list
- Call the host/manager to confirm before granting access
- No verification, no entry — route to the safety lead
