What it looks like
- Someone visibly distressed, cornered, or being followed
- An argument escalating toward physical contact
Before — design it out
- Clear code of conduct and a way to report quietly
- An ombuds or point person guests can find
During — what staff do
- Separate the parties; support the person targeted
- Get details, offer to involve security or police
- Escort out anyone who won't stop
